Insurgency in north east

Hi
I am resuming the hindu editorials from this blog
Please do comment after you read

  • Began with Naga national council in nagaland
  • Also active in tamenglong district of manipur
    • Later came United national liberation front in manipur
    • United liberation front of asom(since 1979) in asom
WHY INSURGENCY?

  • They want sovereignty
  • All these areas were annexed by british India during the 1st anglo burma war in 1824-26
  • However in nagaland they have found a middle path . ie
  • Parallel government is run by insurgents
  • Legitimate State government from kohima and insurgent’s people’s republic of nagalim in dimapur
• Similarly in assam, the two autonomous hill districts are dominated by insurgents. These are
o North cachar district
o Karbi anglong district

    hi,
    thanks for your concern. prep4civils is not owned by me . It is run by someone else. he has lost interest in carrying forward the initiative . so had to discontinue.
    anyways now i shall continue it over here.

    sir there are many students who r following you.so plz dont stop ur work..people who cant reach delhi or big cities for preparation ,who cant join tuition,but who are very serious about preparation really need your help..ur blogs are best on this site and on prep4civils too.i salute your efoorts.N am happy to knw taht u r also a aspirant like us,,then too u r giving ur precious time for other students by working blogs
