· Lot has changed since then
· The challenge at that time was improving tele density
· Today the challenges are
o Ensuring transparency in distri of scarce resources like spectrum
o Ensure consumers get access to latest technologies at low tarriffs
o Ensure a healthy competition among service providers in each area
